The Knox-area Interscholastic Swim League (KISL) is the administrative body for high school swimming in the Knoxville, TN region of TISCA, the Tennessee Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association. KISL represents an 8 county area, primarily surrounding Knox County and stretching South along the I-75 corridor to the Northern edge of Chattanooga. Operation of KISL is directed by a six person Executive Committee who are elected yearly by the KISL membership.

The Knoxville Independent School League is an Elementary and Middle School Athletic League with 30 member schools across Anderson, Blount, Hamblen, Knox, Sevier, and Roane counties. The KISL is committed to the encouragement and growth of young student-athletes and we strive to develop student-athletes with character and leadership skills, as well as provide fair competition and sportsmanship throughout our league.
